Ensure to Trim your wick 1/4" prior to lighting. It is important to burn until the wax melts evenly to avoid tunnelling (3-4 hours) for the first time. As you burn through the candle it should only take two hours for the melt pool to reach the edges of the glass. It is recommended to blow out the candle as soon as it reaches the edge, let it cool and if you want to burn it again, trim the wick and light it up again- this way you will extend the life of the candle. As the wax cools, it will still diffuse fragrance so you are able to enjoy it even after it is extinguished.
If any smoking occurs when the candle is burning, extinguish the flame, trim wick and relight. Burn candle on a heat-safe surface, do not leave unattended and keep away from children and pets.
