Small White Concrete Vase

Designed as a functional piece of art, these vases can be used for both dry and wet (when used with a silicone insert) arrangements. This carefully designed piece narrows at the opening to allow ease of placement of materials in the vase to be more deliberate along with a beveled edge to prevent chipping while adding an artistic dimension.
Using custom mold designed by Jill Tia, these vases are hand poured in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan using both concrete and metakaolin. Due to the handmade nature of these vases, each piece will vary slightly in color and appearance.
About Metakaolin
This green alternative is processed from naturally occurring kaolin clay into a dry white cementitious material that improves durability and environmental footprint of concrete and other cementitious based products through a reduction of up to 90% C02 emissions as compared to the manufacturing of Portland cement.
